Patricia Wohrley

Patricia Gale Wohrley, 70, of Wichita, KS, passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, February 4, 2023 after a courageous battle with illness. Born Patricia Gale Prohn in Jacksonville, North Carolina on September 9, 1952, "Pat" was the daughter of the late Huey and Juanita Prohn and the wife of the late Wayne Wohrley. She was also preceded in death by her brother-in-law, Gary Dilling.

Pat is survived by her sister, Becky Dilling of Wichita, KS and brother, Huey and wife, Nancy Prohn, Jr. of Towanda, KS as well as her nieces and nephews who she thought of as her "children": Angela and husband Michael Seibel, Kari and husband Jerrod Hanson, Eric and wife Angie Dilling, Sacia and husband Bill Quattlebaum, John and wife Sarah Prohn and Matt and wife Becky Prohn. She is also survived by numerous great-nieces and nephews, loving long-time friend Rick Lacey and her furbaby Maddie.

Pat grew up in Wichita, where she attended Wesley School of Nursing. She went on to serve as a devoted and caring nurse at Wesley Medical Center for 42 years.

Pat was an animal lover and activist who rescued enough cats over the years that she could have filled an entire sanctuary.
