Peggy Switzer (Fogle) was born on October 1st, 1919 in Formoso, Kansas. She was lovingly raised by her aunt, Mary Louise Neff (Fogle) alongside her cousins Esther, Carl, Lois, and John, whom she adored and considered siblings.
In 1937, she married the love of her life, Leland Switzer, in Hoxie, Kansas. To this 73-year union, three sons and three daughters were born: Stan (Donna) Switzer, Soni (Nick) Nicholson, Danny (Jeri) Switzer, Kevin (Merlene) Switzer, Karlene (Virgil) Ivy, Dana (Mickey) Ehrmann.
Peggy was a caring mother and grandmother. She loved sharing the outdoors with family, and creating amazing paintings, and wood carvings with her husband, Leland.
Peggy is proceeded in death by her husband Leland, her sons, Danny and Kevin Switzer, her grandson Lee Ehrmann, aunt Mary (Fogle) Neff, cousins, Carl Neff and Esther Kertson, half-sisters Reba and Barbara, and her mother Clara Ann Peterson.
Besides the above-mentioned children, Peggy leaves to mourn her passing, cousins, Lois Spawn and John Neff, 9 grandchildren, Niki (Rick) Hoffecker, Steve (Geannie) Nicholson, Barry (Angie) Switzer, Jennifer (Michael Garner) Switzer, Amy (Joe Arcikowski) Switzer, Chris (Kari) Ehrmann, Sara Ehrmann, and Cody (Laynie) Ivy, 4 step-grandchildren, Kim McDonald, Brian (Rebekah) Ivy, Amy Ivy, and Stacy Ivy, 17 great-grandchildren, Cameron Switzer, Tucker Arcikowski, Redford Garner, Charlotte Ehrmann, Lydia Ehrmann, Nathan Ehrmann, Steven Ehrmann, Haley Jones, Ryan McGee, Riley McGee, Nicole Ivy, Karly Ivy, CJ Ivy, Lanson Ivy, Kiara Ehrmann, Avery Ehrmann, Harper Ehrmann, Kayla Hoffecker, Megan Hoffecker, and Emily Nicholson, 9 step-great-grandchildren, 2 great-great-grandchildren, Sadie Hoffecker, and Maycee Hoffecker, 4 step-great-great-grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends.
Viewing will be from 9:00-4:00, Friday, February 18, at Broadway Mortuary. Funeral service will be at 10:30am, Saturday, February 19, at Broadway Mortuary.
