Permelia "Pam" R. Sharp

Permelia R. "Pam" Sharp, 82, passed away Saturday, August 5, 2023. Pam was preceded in death by her parents, Millard and Lora Shipman, and brother, Gale Michael Shipman. Survivors include her husband of 62 years, Martin Leroy Sharp; sons, Bret Martin Sharp (Angela) and Chad Everett Sharp; brother, Ronnie Shipman (Connie); sister-in-law, Dorothy Shipman; grandchildren, Tyler Louis Sharp, Paige Elizabeth Sharp, Taylor Ruth Schurig (Mitchell), and Levi Nicholas Sharp; and one great-grandchild on the way. Pam loved traveling, painting, gardening, supporting her sports teams; the Jayhawks, Wildcats, Chiefs, Royals, and Celtics, and cheering on her grandkids in all of their activities. She also had a passion for serving in church related ministries and functions. She will be greatly missed. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 10:30 am, Friday, August 11, at Chapel Hill United Methodist Church, 1550 N. Chapel Hill St., with visitation one hour prior to services.
