Phyllis Ann Jones

Phyllis 'Banda' Ann Jones was born May 23, 1956 to Olen & Bonnie Harrison in Fayetteville, AR and shortly after moved to Wichita, KS with her parents and brother and remained throughout her life. She attended West High School and while attending there, she met Randy Jones, whom she began dating and went on to marry and have 2 children with, Craig Eugene Jones and Angela Michelle Jones. Phyllis was a floral manager at Dillons until shortly after Randy's passing in January 1997. Phyllis lived her life as a free spirit and never met a stranger anywhere she went! People loved her. She always had a smile on her face and more than willing to spark up a conversation. She was a beloved friend, daughter, sister, mother, grandmother or rather 'Banda' as her grandkids called her, and a great grandma. Phyllis is survived by her brother, Phillip Harrison; her son, Craig (Nicholette) Jones; her daughter, Angie Jones; her grandchildren, Cameron Mattix, Jared Mattix, Madisen Mattix, Reuben Leo, Olivia Edins, Gabriel Jones, and Madilyn Jones; also her great grandchildren, Novah, Ellieanna, Kaisen, Maverick, and Eli. She was preceded in death by her parents, Olin & Bonnie Harrison, and her beloved husband, Randy Jones. Phyllis passed away at the age of 67 at Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice-St. Francis Campus on Thursday January 10, 2024 after suffering a massive stroke.
