Raymond Hankey

Raymond “Ray” Lee Hankey, 75, passed away Sunday, April 16, 2023. Raymond is preceded in death by his parents, Norman D. Hankey and Mildred B. Burman and sibling, Roger Burman. He is survived by his loving wife, Miyoko Hankey; daughter and son-in-law, Renee and Theodore Kroskey; grandchildren Skye Kroskey and Nicholas Kroskey; siblings David Hankey, Barbara Welch, Bruce Burman, Howard Burman, Duane Burman and Brian Burman.

Raymond was a man of utmost character and a person of so many wonderful talents.  He was a United States Army Vietnam-Era Veteran, who earned three bachelor’s degrees in his lifetime.  Raymond was a Master Electrician, Electronics Technician, PLC Programmer, Automation Engineer, Maintenance Supervisor and Instructor.  He was a troubleshooter by nature and was often called upon to fix the most complicated problems.  Honesty was his greatest quality trait, and he was always highly respected by all who knew him.  He delighted in doing his daily crossword puzzles and greatly enjoyed spending time with his immediate family, especially enjoying the activities of his two grandchildren.  Raymond had the kindest heart and the warmest smile and he will be dearly missed! A private family ceremony will be held, and burial will be at the Kansas Veterans Cemetery in Winfield, Kansas.  Share condolences at www.cozine.com.
