Raymond Jones

Jones, Raymond (Ray), 71, retired area manager for the National Disaster Medical System, died Feb 29, 2016. A memorial service will be held at 1:30 pm, Thursday, March 10th, at Eastminster Presbyterian Church. Ray was preceded in death by his parents, Ray and Ruth Jones and his brother, Don. He is survived by his wife, Kathryn (Kay); daughter, Susan (Mark) Keene; grandchildren, Kristen, Karah, and Samuel; brother, Cliff, and beloved cousins, nieces, and nephews. A linguist, Ray served as General’s Aide in Latin America in the USAF. He loved his Air Force service (1967-73 active and 1976-89 Air National Guard) and was ready to be called back at any time. Ray used his language and people skills on mission trips, often to Latin America, where he shared his deep faith in Christ. He was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, mentor and servant-leader.
