Reba McElrath

Reba J. McElrath (Hudlin), 86, was born to Forest and Virginia Hudlin November 29, 1939 in Wichita, KS and went to be with the Lord August 9, 2026.

Reba was the Matriarch of the family and was surrounded by her family when she passed away at home.

She is survived by her daughters Kathy (Mike) Henson, Donna McElrath, and Dianna (Maek) Stever; siblings, Illa Hinckley and Phillip (Katie) Hudlin; 8 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great grandchild and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Virginia (Norris) Patterson, father, Forest Hudlin; daughters Sheila McElrath and Patricia (Gary) Koch; and her siblings, Danny Hudlin, Ray Hudlin and sister-in-law, Sheila (Becktold) Sloyan.

To know Reba was to love Reba. She was quite the character as she was funny, feisty, sarcastically onery in a fun kind of way, loving, kind, giving, and way overprotective of her family.

She loved spending time with family and friends, bingo, and gambling. She did not like snakes and whatever you do, don't touch her feet.

She will forever be in our hearts and truly missed by all.
