Richard Loibl

September 5, 1936 — September 21, 2022

Richard James Loibl, 86, of Wichita, Kansas, was called home on September 21, 2022 surrounded by loved ones. He was born to parents, Emma and Fred Loibl on September 5, 1936 in Offerle, Kansas.

He is survived by his wife, Lavaughn of 65 years; children, Richard Loibl Jr. (Karen), Mark Loibl (Gina), and Christina Sinfellow (John); grandchildren, Lindy Stephan (Tyler), Landon Loibl (Betsy), Brogan Loibl (Kaley), Aaron Loibl, Maggie Loibl, Anna Loibl, and Jonathan Sinfellow (Angela); great grandchildren, Addilyn Stephan, Carter Stephan, Reesa Sinfellow and Gianna Sinfellow. He was preceded in death by daughter, Linda Sue Loibl.

Richard passed on his love of fishing to his family, the great outdoors, and simply being thankful for every day. He loved 'The King' (Elvis Presley) and never passed up the opportunity to watch a good ole' western or KU basketball game. He loved his family fiercely and unconditionally.

Richard's family would like to extend a sincere, heart-felt thank you to Premier Living by Warden and Heartland Home Health. They will never forget the compassion, love, kindness, and support both organizations showed.

The Rosary service will be held Friday September 23rd, 7:00 pm at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church. Funeral services will be held at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church on Saturday September 24th at 10:00 am.
