Richard Songer

Richard Anderson Songer, 82, passed away Friday, November 18, 2022. A small graveside service will be held on Tuesday, November 29th at 2:00pm at Cozine Memorial Group - Kensington Gardens, 11500 E. 21st St. N., Wichita, KS 67206. Richard was born to Milo and Meryl Songer of Wichita, KS. Richard was married to Janice Songer for 59 years. Richard and Janice raised three children, Jennifer (Jim) Roman, Jeff (Ann) Songer, and Melissa Songer. Richard was a successful entrepreneur establishing Songer Design Associates in 1974 where he provided commercial design services for numerous local and national clients. Richard was a loving grandfather to Lyndsey Roman, Lauren Roman, Kylie Roman, Ash Songer, Jacob Songer, Shaylon Stoneberger, and Sky Stoneberger. Richard was an avid fan of all things Wichita State.
