Rick Laham

Rick Laham was a loving father, grandfather, son, brother, and friend. He left this world to be with Jesus on December 27, 2021 at the age of 61. A private family service was held.

Rick was born on May 23, 1960 to Richard and Sonia Laham in Wichita, Kansas. After graduating from North High, he attended WSU before pursuing a career in sales. Rick’s entrepreneurial spirit lead him to create several different businesses throughout his life which included a payday loan company, telecommunications business, a local burger joint, and home painting among others. One distinct trait about Rick was his innate ability to always get a deal on something no matter if he was at a flea market or a department store.

An admired quality about Rick was his generosity: whether it was with money, food, time, or kindness that someone needed, he was always happy to give to people in need. Throughout his life, Rick enjoyed being active in his church, playing guitar, golfing, and above all else, spending time with his family.

Rick is survived by his parents, Richard and Sonia Laham; sons, James, Adam, and Grant Laham; daughter-in-law, Michelle Perry; sister, Loretta Youngs; granddaughter, Lexi Laham.
