Preceded in death by parents, Marvin and Elizabeth Cheatum and brother Lynn, survivors include his wife of 57 years, Joy; sons, Jay (Stephanie) Cheatum and Paul (Sarah) Cheatum; sister, Marabeth (Bob) Journagan and grandchildren, Erick (Shelby), Henry, Charlie and Erin Cheatum.
