Robert Chris Robe

Robert Chris Robe,78, passed away in Wichita, Kansas, on June 29, 2025, from the effects of Primary Progressive Aphasia. He is survived by his wife of 29 years, Debra Robe; stepsons, Nick and Mike (Emily) Drake; and granddaughters, Eleanorr Dawn and Charlotte Ann Drake. Further, he is survived by his children, Hilary Kupersmith (Andrew) and Sarah and Barrett Robe.

Chris was raised in Arkansas City, Kansas. He enrolled at KU, where he joined the Sigma Chi fraternity. Chris entered KU Law School and received his Juris Doctor Degree in 1972. Chris was an active participant in organizations throughout his life, including the Salvation Army, Wagonmasters Club, and Big Brothers and Big Sisters. He was President of the Kansas Bar Tax Law Section and Board Member of the Wichita Chapter of the Kansas Society of CPA’s. Some of Chris’ passions were KU Jayhawk sports, fly fishing, and tennis.
