Roberta Galbraith, 101 years old, died April 24, 2021 surrounded by family and companions at her California residence. "Bobbie" was a loving wife, devoted mother, grandmother and great grandmother.

She was born and raised in Douglass, Kansas. Bobbie attended Emporia State Teachers College (ESTC) where she and a Tri Sigma sorority sister took flying lessons, she then went on to solo and earn her pilot license. She met Harry Galbraith at ESTC and they married in 1941 and moved to Wichita, Kansas.

Bobbie loved being active and volunteering with a variety of organizations. She was an excellent bridge player for 80+ years, enjoyed water coloring, belonged to 20th Century Club, Tri Sigma, Tri Delta Mother's Group, several bridge clubs, read for the Blind, served over many years as both Girl Scout and Camp Fire leaders for her daughters, and was a member of Central Christian and Hillside Christian Churches.

She enjoyed their European travels and meeting new people ˗ always up for experiencing new adventures. Her latest adventure was living in West Los Angeles, California.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Harry and daughter Janice. Survivors include: daughters, Suzanne and Lisa, and grandchildren Jeane' and Rick, and seven great-grandchildren.
