Robert B. Crook, Ph.D., passed into eternity with his Savior on December 26, 2017 just prior to his 96th birthday. Bob was survived by extended family and an extensive network of friends all over the country. Bob spent his early years in Garfield, Kansas, and served in the Army including involvement in the Battle of the Bulge in WWII. He taught at Queens College in New York City for more than 20 years, mentoring many of his students. More recently Bob made his home in Wichita where he worshiped at Heartland Community Church. He also consulted and served in various capacities at both Central Christian Academy and Trinity Academy throughout the last 30 years. Bob has had countless meals with many people, developing relationships and mentoring young people. Even in his final 2 years at Regent Park Assisted Living, he enjoyed sharing meals with his tablemates Rosie, Norma, and Katherine. In the last 5 years, he was anxiously awaiting God’s call to take him home, but content to wait on the Lord. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him. In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established with Trinity Academy.
