Roger W. Austin, passed away at home on August 8, 2025, in Wichita Kansas. Roger was born to Charles Austin and Linda (Ervin) Blasche on August 13, 1970 in Wichita, Kansas. He is preceded in death by both parents, as well as his step father Larry Blasche. He is survived by his wife of 30 years, Joanna (Wagerle) Austin, his step mother; Barbra Austin, his siblings; Donald (Sarah) Austin, and Vicki (Mark) Carter, his four children; Elena (Ryne) Francisco, Brenner Austin, Layne Austin, and Bryton Austin, as well as many in-laws, step-siblings, cousins. nieces and nephews.

Throughout Roger’s life he made many friends, leading to the meeting of Joanna when he was the best man in a friend's wedding in July 1994. They married only months later on June 9,1995. As a teen he worked in the restaurant Felipes, before joining the United States Army as an early adult. Later, he went on to join the aircraft industry, a career in which he spent most of his adult life, accompanied by short stents landscaping for the City of Wichita and driving for Hoffman Trucking. 

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 11:00 am, Thursday, August 14, at Wichita Cornerstone SDA Church, 903 S. 127th St. E. Share condolences at www.cozine.com. Services by Cozine Memorial Group-Broadway Mortuary.
