Rose Fortney
April 18, 1930 — February 2, 2022
Rose Marie Fortney, 91, passed away on Wednesday, February 2, 2022. Visitation will be from 6:00-8:00pm, Tuesday, February 8, at Broadway Mortuary. Funeral service at 10:00am, Wednesday, February 9, at Believers Southern Baptist Church. Interment will follow service at Resurrection Cemetery. Rose is preceded in death by her husband, Harold Fortney; parents, Hazen and Gwendolyn Craven; and sister, Patricia LaPlante. She is survived by her children, Dwight (Bonnie) Fortney, Michael Fortney, Dianna Padgett, and Joseph (Gina) Fortney; sister, Jean Swesey; 13 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and by amazing caregivers from Visiting Angels and Park West Manor.
