Ruby (Kiser) (Campbell) Goering

Ruby Bell (Kiser) (Campbell) Goering (Clason), 91, of Wichita, KS passed away on December 23, 2022. She was born on June 6, 1931 to Wayne Banay and Gertrude (Carroll) French in Omaha Nebraska. She graduated with an RN degree from Clarkson Nursing School in Omaha Nebraska. She was a resident of Wichita, KS.

Ruby retired from Wesley Hospital in Wichita Kansas. She went on to do volunteer work with the Red Cross. She was also president of the Wichita Assistance League for several years. Ruby attained Lifetime Master status with the American Contract Bridge League (ACBL) Duplicate Bridge Club. Ruby loved people and Jesus. She looked after neighborhood children and adopted her children's friends.  Her home was always full with family and friends. She loved playing cards of any kind, loved a good laugh, travelling with family and friends, and loved her church. She never knew a stranger.

Ruby was preceded in death by her husbands Norval Kiser and John Campbell, also by her adopted father Rufus Clason, mother Gertrude French, brother Walter Clason, and brother Tom Agnew, sister Helen Stephensen Agnew, and stepdad Al French.

Ruby is survived by her husband Marlo Goering, her children Lori Kiser Salas (Henry) (TX), Debie Kiser Kvassay (Doug) (AZ), Susan Kiser Lawrence (David/deceased) (KS), Becky Kiser Norris (John) (TX), Patty Kiser Myers (John) (TX), Brad Kiser (Cheryl) (TX), and by her stepchildren David Campbell (Pandora) (PA), Diana Campbell Wertz (Kelly) (KS),  Mike Campbell (Theresa) (TX), and by stepchildren Tammy Goering (KS), Lori Goering Jenkins (Anthony) (KS), and Robin Goering Courtney (David) (KS), and by 19 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren, numerous nieces nephews, and other family and friends.

Visitation with family present will be held from 6-8 pm, Wednesday, December 28, in the Hospitality Room, at Broadway Mortuary, 1147 S. Broadway. Memorial service will be a Celebration of Life at 1pm on Thursday, December 29, 2022 at Asbury Methodist Church, 2801 West 15th Street North, Wichita, KS 67203.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the American Heart Association or to Cancer Research.
