Salvatore DeFazio
September 6, 1928 — February 23, 2017
DeFazio, Salvatore Giuseppe, 88, passed away February 23, 2017. Sal was born in Pietrastornina, Italy in 1928, immigrating to America in 1957. While raising a family, he worked as a Motor Electrician at Mears/Reliance Electric for many years and for the USD 259 school service center. Sal was preceded in death by his parents, Carmela and Giuseppe DeFazio; sisters, Lucia DeLuca and Letizia McGee; and wife of 56 years, Anna Maria. Survivors include his sons, Joe (Nancy), Pietro (Janet), and Carmine, all of Wichita; four grandchildren, Mia Jenkins (Craig), Rocky, Anna, and Gina DeFazio. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m., Thursday, with Funeral Service, 10:30 a.m., Friday, both at Broadway Mortuary.
