Barnett, Sammy Justin "Iron Man Sam", 42, crane operator at Spirit AeroSystems, passed away December 7, 2017. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m., Friday at Broadway Mortuary, 1147 S. Broadway with Funeral Service 11 a.m., Saturday at Central Community Church,6100 W. Maple. He was preceded in death by parents, Micki Davis, Samuel Barnett and Jacob "Red" Gillespie; grandparent, Harold Davis; brother, Daniel; and niece, Lacee. Survivors include his loving wife, Cynthia; children, Jori, Ian, Gavin, Joe and Damon; grandparents, Gene and Vera Hanson; siblings, Faye (James), Jeremy (Melissa), Jacona (Dax), and Jacob III; nieces and nephews, Brandon, Brianna, Katie, Jacob IV, Jaden, Daxyn, Jaylea, Brian, Cyrus, and Landon; and numerous other friends. Sammy was a proud journeyman Iron worker with the Local Union #24 and also a union member of local lodge #839 in district 70. Memorials to: Parents of Murdered Children.
