Scott Curtis Berg comfortably passed away at the age of 58 on February 24, 2025 after several medical issues in Kansas City. Scott was born to Curtis and Maryann Berg in Marshall Minnesota and had 2 siblings. He was raised in Montevideo Minnesota and as an adult joined the US army. He was stationed in Fort Lewis Washington and before being deployed to desert storm he married his first wife, Tammy Watson and together they shared 1 child.


After serving his country he moved to Wichita, Kansas where he would meet his current wife Kathy Berg, They were married in 2001. Scott was known for his quirky humor, his motorcycle (Honda pop), his generosity, his love for smoking different foods, and his unwavering love for his country.


Scott is predeceased by his father Curtis Berg and is survived by his mother Maryann, siblings, Steve and Sandy; his wife Kathy; his daughter, Felicia; his 2 granddaughters, Selah and Brooklyn,and several nieces and nephews along with countless friends and fellow veterans.


Memorial service will be held at Broadway Mortuary in Wichita Kansas Friday March 14th at 1 pm, followed by a Celebration of life at VFW post 3115 in Wichita, Kansas.
