Sherry Buss

Sharon Ann "Sherry" Buss, 70, passed away Monday, January 20, 2025 at her home in Wichita, KS. Sherry was born August 11, 1954 in Amarillo, TX to Jimmie and Connie (Ahart) Buss, both have preceded Sherry in death. She was also preceded in death by her brother, David Buss. After graduating from Wichita State University, Sherry worked at WSU for Gene Smithson, the WSU Baseball Coach. Sherry later retired from American Airlines working over 20 years as a Customer Service Agent at both LAX in Las Angeles and then in Omaha, NE. After that she worked and retired from the USPS as a Mail Carrier in Omaha before returning to Wichita. In Wichita she became an Associate Team Leader in the Wellness Section for Whole Foods after they opened in 2014 and was currently working for Whole Foods at the time of her passing. Survivors include her brother, Jeff and his wife, Anna Buss; sister, Cathy Buss; nieces, Kyla Ball, Victoria and Claire Buss and several cousins whom she deeply loved. Sherry was greatly loved by her family and friends and will be missed by all that knew her.
