Shirley Ann Metz

Shirley Ann Metz, 91, passed away Saturday, January 31, 2026. Funeral service celebrating Shirley's life will be at 10:00am, Friday, February 6, at Reformation Lutheran Church. Shirley is preceded in death by her parents, Byron and Frances Cox; her loving husband, Jack Metz; and sister, Virginia Gates. She is survived by her children, Mark (Lynda) Metz, Ann (George) Higgins, Lynn (Jeff) McFarland, and Jill (Brian) Nitcher; 10 grandchildren, and 12 great-grandchildren. Memorials have been established with Reformation Lutheran Church, Kansas Humane Society, and Beauties and Beasts. Services by Cozine Memorial Group - Cozine Life Events Center.
