Shude Gaxe (Smoke Maker" in Ponca Language") lived his life as a Native American Artisan. He was a dedicated son, father, brother and uncle.
Our beloved son left this earth September 25, 2026. The Funeral Mass date is pending confirmation.
He was born on March 27, 1974 in Phoenix, Arizona. Shude was a member of the Tohono O'Odham and Ponca Nations. His parents are Juan and Sandra Victors of Wichita, Kansas.
He graduated high school from Wichita North, recieved a degree from the Institute of American Indian Arts and obtained a Bachelor's from Arizona State University. He dedicated his life to his Native culture where he was a member of the Ponca Hethuska and through his travels across the country he became a World Championship Straight Dancer in Hartford Connecticut in 1994. He was a member of the Native American Church and Catholic Faith.
He is survived by his Son Ross Victors of Albuquerque, New Mexico, His parents Juan and Sandra Victors of Wichita, Kansas. His sister Ponk-We (Dustin) and niece Ruby Victors-Cozad of Norman, Oklahoma, brother Greg Victors of Wichita, Kansas, Aunt Roberta Ware of Wichita, Kansas and numerous Nieces and nephews.
