Steven John Martinez

Steven John Martinez, born on March 25, 2007, in Wichita, Kansas, passed away in his hometown on March 30, 2026. 

Steven’s life will be honored with a Celebration of Life service held at Faith Community Church in Wichita, located at 1750 N Gow St, 67203. The service will take place on April 7, 2026, beginning at 10:30 a.m.

He is survived by his parents, Leonard Martinez (Kendra), and Diana Lara (Juan); brothers, James Bethel and Abraham Quijada; sisters, Candice Cash, Jocelyn Sambrano, and Alicia Comstock; grandmothers, Linda Martinez and Becky Bingham; uncle, Peter Martinez (Kelley); and aunts, Fotu Mamea, and Mila Andrade.

Steven’s memory also honors those family members who preceded him in death, including his grandparents, Joe Martinez, Tusi Mamea, and Solema Lavea; uncles, Steve Martinez and John Mamea

The profound sorrow felt by all who close to Steven is accompanied by deep appreciation for his life and the time shared with him.
