Steven Wisdom
February 11, 1952 — February 21, 2016
Steve, who was in the brokerage business for 35 years, suffered a major cardiac event while doing what he loved best – watching the Shockers! He passed peacefully on Feb. 21, 2016. Steve attended WHS East, class of 1970 and is a WSU alumnus. Steve is survived by sister, Cheryl (Dave) Hill; Weiss siblings: Jay (Sharyn), Ruby, Jon (Darla), Laurie (John), Kurt; his father’s wife, Patsy Wisdom; step-brothers, Steve (Terri) Adams and Scott (Cindy) Askew; and more friends than one guy should be blessed with having. Brother Lee Weiss preceded him in death. Come help us celebrate the life of Wichita’s biggest Shocker fan before the last game of the season on Saturday, Feb. 27, 2016, at 10:00 am at the Abode, 1330 E. Douglas. Wear your black and gold!
