Tarah L. Nietfeld

Tarah Lynn Nietfeld, 35, passed away in Wichita, Kansas on September 21, 2026.

She was born on July 7, 1991, at Wesley Hospital, Tarah truly lived up to the meaning of her name: a guiding star, a goddess, and a protector. She was a devoted daughter, mother, sister, and friend who possessed the rare gift of providing strength to others who were fighting similar demons with a simple smile and bringing peace to those around her.

Tarah was a vibrant soul and a true connoisseur of life's beautiful things, holding a deep passion for sushi, style, fashion, and music. She was incredibly talented at makeup, using it as another expression of her unique creativity and eye for beauty. She is survived by her cherished daughter, Adilynn June; her parents, Gayne Morris and Cary Nietfeld, Mila Nietfeld ; her sisters, Melissa Hall, Vanessa Holder, and Amber Whetstine; brother, Andrew Nietfeld; her nieces, Morgan Hall and Lilla Hall, Willa Whetstine ; and her nephews, Andru Hall, Brayden Whetstine, Michael Whetstine, and Salvador Jarman. Multiple aunts and uncles and loved beyond words by numerous friends . She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Reuben and Betty Nietfeld , William & Patricia Novotny. Uncle Todd Novotny, Craig Nietfeld , Step Brother Andrew Morris.

Service Details

• Viewing: Monday, September 28, 2026, at 6pm-8pm, Broadway Mortuary (1147 S Broadway, Wichita, KS).

• Funeral Service: Tuesday, September 29, 2026, at the Catholic Church of the Magdalen at 10am with reception to follow .(12626 E 21st St N, Wichita, KS)
