Terry Whyte

Terry Patrick Whyte, 83, beloved husband, father, and grandfather, moved on to his next adventure on April 13, 2022. Private family services will be held.

Terry was born in Biercrest, Saskatchewan, Canada. He attended the University of Florida and the University of Tampa, graduating with a Bachelor’s of Science in Agriculture. He had numerous hobbies which included flying, sailing, cooking, free diving, hockey, and skiing. He was a world traveler and an adventure seeker. Terry proudly served in the US Air Force.

He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Phyllis Whyte and brother, John Whyte. Terry is survived by his wife, Joan Whyte; sons, Robin (Liz) Whyte, and Bryan (Diane) Pasley; daughters, Cheryl (Kent) Cooper and Denita (Bob) Burgess; sister, Bonnie Warren, 8 grandchildren, and 7 great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorials have been established with the Kansas Humane Society and the Alzheimer’s Association.
