Todd Milby

Todd Douglas Milby, age 58, of Wichita, Kansas entered into eternal life on September 20, 2023. His legacy lives on through his beloved wife of 36 years, Dana Milby, and his three sons Alex, Carter and Caleb Milby. Kindhearted, compassionate, selfless, strong, and funny are just a few words to describe him. Todd focused on faith, family and friends throughout his life and made everyone around him feel seen and loved. He was adored by his dogs for whom he greatly cared. 

Todd was born in Hastings, Nebraska on March 23, 1965 to Donald and Glenda Milby and grew up with five siblings whom he cherished: Rhea, Kathy, Randy, Ritch, and Terry. Todd attended the University of Kansas where he and Dana met and developed a love for each other and for the Jayhawks. The family shares a passion for KU and enjoyed many sporting events together. After college, the couple raised their boys in the country just outside of Wichita and made countless memories together. Together they built Dana’s law practice, Milby Law, from the ground up and worked side-by-side for over 30 years.

Todd loved playing guitar and blessed many lives with his musical talent through leading worship. He shared his musical talents with his family as well and loved playing music with his sons. His favorite place on earth was Sanibel Island, Florida where the family visited every summer for over 20 years.

Family and friends are welcome to attend a visitation on Monday, September 25 from 5-7 p.m. at the Cozine Life Events Center (11500 E. 21^st St. N. Wichita, KS 67206) and a Celebration of Life service on Tuesday, September 26, 2023, at 1:30 p.m. at Faith Community Church (1750 N. Gow St. Wichita, KS, 67203).

Todd encouraged and strengthened many through his blog, www.yourenotdone.org, where he shared glimpses of his family’s health journey. The family encourages you to read his story.

In memory of Todd, the family requests that in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be made to the “Ding” Darling Wildlife Society, supporting the J.N. “Ding” Darling National Wildlife Refuge on Sanibel Island, one of his favorite places.
