Travis J. "TJ" Nebergall

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the unexpected passing of Travis John (T.J.) Nebergall. Travis passed away June 8, 2023 at his home in Wichita. Travis lit up every room with his smile, lifted spirits with his positive attitude, and always knew how to make anyone laugh. We will miss his natural charm, humor, and witty banter.

Travis was born August 1, 1983. He was the youngest child of Murray and Claire (Crawford) Nebergall joining Rory McNeil and Sarah Marie. Travis grew up and attended school in Haysville, KS. After traveling a bit, he recognized his natural talent for sales which he did for many years, his last job being at Hatchett Hyundai East, where he will be missed by many!

Travis had an adventurous spirit. He traveled often (most recently to Florida), loved different cuisines, and recently jumped out of a perfectly good airplane. Travis had a great love of animals from birth. The childhood family dog Sarge and Black Tail the cat were constant companions. Travis leaves behind his best friend “Ellie”, a coal black Cocker Spaniel, who has moved in with 2 other dogs at her aunt Sarah’s home, claiming the best sleeping spot.

Travis was preceded in death by his older brother Rory in January 2021, all grandparents maternal and paternal, his favorite uncle Darl Crawford, and other family members. Living on without Travis are his parents, Murray and Claire (Crawford) Nebergall (Wichita), sister Sarah Prohn (husband John) (Park City), niece Bailey Elizabeth Nebergall (Andover), Aunt Kelly Nebergall (Bel Aire), Aunt Deb Smalley (Newton), and many additional aunts, uncles, cousins, and numerous friends.
