January 7, 1921 — June 8, 2018
Wood, Veneda Laura, 97, went to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, Friday, June 8, 2018. A Celebration of Life will be 3 p.m., Saturday, June 23, at Riverlawn Christian Church, 4243 N. Meridian Ave. A Private Interment will take place at a later date. She was preceded in death by beloved husband, Clifton Wood; and parents Omer and Hester White. Survivors include son, Curtis (Gayle) Wood; daughter, Patricia (Kenneth) Brown; grandchildren, Greg (Renee) Abel, Twila (David) Jones, Amber Yourman and Chris (Kimberly) Wood; great-grandchildren, Shelby (Jeremy), Cole, Joshua, Gabriel, Jacob, Thea, Josephine and Jadyn; and numerous pets.
