Wanda Cochran

Jeanie Cochran, 73, born May 30, 1950 in Wichita, KS, to Robert and Ruby Foster. Jeanie passed away July 24, 2023 at her home in Leon, KS. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husbands, Elmer Cope and Vernie Cochran and her sisters, Bobbie and Carolyn. Survivors include her daughter, Eris and husband, Robert Ruboyianes, her brothers, Robert, James, Herman, Matthew and Thomas; sisters, Verna, Flora, Martha, Ruth and Laura. In her younger years Jeanie loved to garden and would can all kinds of produce from her garden. She loved to get together with her sisters, go shopping, and she loved cooking for the holidays. She worked at beech aircraft from 1984 and retired early in 1998 due to post polio syndrome. Her health began to decline in the last year and a half of her life and she passed away at home.
