Zachry Poague

Zachry Tomas Poague left this world on December 24, 2022 at the age of 46 born in 1976 on November 2nd. 

Zac had a zest for life and protected those he loved fiercely. He was a multiple State Champion high school football and wrestling coach. Coaching was Zac's biggest passion in life and his mark has undoubtedly been left in this city and across the state. 

Zac leaves behind a beloved daughter, Olivia. She was Zac's world and they were looking forward to her baby Josie Lynn who is due to arrive in this world any day.

Zac was also a proud dog dad and found joy daily in his two treasured dogs- The Outlaw Josey Wales and Augustus McCrae Texas Ranger.  

Zachry is proceeded in death by his parents, Terry and Carol Poague, and his sister Gretchen Lynn Atwood. 

Zachry is survived by his daughter Olivia Douglass-Poague, his sister Trae Kottler and brother Stephen Poague. He also leaves behind countless friends who are considered part of the Poague family.
